have you guys seen the proto? looks pretty sweet. hes definately adding some bang for your buck to that icon frame and susp. :tup:

I saw it this morning.  Looks to be on the right track.  If the new frame gets good reviews then they may be on the right track.

curious to see how the 2500 stacks up against a similar but much heavier longbow

I am, as well.  I have a MR and it's very comfortable but also very heavy.  It would be good if I could lighten everything up by several pounds - especially if I can do so on the larger pack sizes (NICE frame with 6500 is 10+ pounds).

The concept behind the Kuiu looks really good - I like the load sling/meat carrier idea.  I use a MR NICE frame with Crew Cab right now for that very reason.  You can take our a whole deer or a elk quarter without having to go get a packboard first.  Since I don't usually hunt anywhere near a road, this is pretty convenient.
