Title: West-sider heading East tomorrow
Post by: 4OYOTER on June 29, 2012, 06:12:30 PM
Howdy Folks,

Most of my predator hunting here in WA has been primarily in the Granite Falls area. (Countless hours with only 1 coyote to show). I have also tried the Cle Elem area a few times with no luck.

I am heading over to Spokane tomorrow and would really like to try some spots further East. (I hear the further east you go - the more coyotes there are?!?)

Can somebody direct me  to a worthwhile area to try? I have a discovery pass and forest service pass.

Thanks a ton,
Alan

Colville area is loaded with them and the farmers would loooooove to have you take a couple dozen back west with ya.

Lots of opportunities around Ellensburg. The Umptanum and Wenas area have lots of public land and lots of coyotes. Killed this one in the Yakima river canyon a couple years back while deer hunting.

Thank you gentlemen. Props also to Rynokron - We met up near Vantage yesterday for a few stands. No luck there, but he got a few earlier in the day.
