Post by: ironhead14 on July 04, 2012, 07:23:00 AM: This is a bit better shot of him. I have not seen the wide one for 4 days now. That is very unusual, he is normally the first one in every night. I have seen two wolves here in the last few months so I am wondering if he has been eaten.

I am just east of you actually, right on the Idaho border. The wide one was in for a treat the other night. I think now that the heat is on the food for them is good. Summer activity usually slows down when food is in good supply. Late August it gets real active. Fun watching them shed the velvet.

Long slit in the left ear, and misshapen antler growth.

I think those puncture scars are small points starting to grow. He will be a fun one to watch grow.
