Depends on which one you get. The wildfire I have advertises 100 yards. I can't usually get mine in a tree where I hunt but if there's so much as a leaf in the way it drops the range significantly. The remote on the spitfire or whatever it was (I think they changed it to something else,) was way shorter. If I didn't get mine for such a stupid accident on price (THANKS AGAIN sportsmans in lacey!) I wouldn't have gotten it. They priced it the same as the spitfire and I couldn't let that go.

My biggest complaint is that I haven't painted mine. I like that if need be I can attach another speaker to it to get more sound, but it isn't stereo. I don't think stereo would help anyway. I also don't like the waterproofing solution (put it in a ziplock bag) it just seems cheesy to me, it doesn't affect the sound at all. Other than that I love it. I get the good remote without having to get the really expensive units. The remote is slow to respond and I wish it would let me know when I have it on mute for troubleshooting. Only time I've ever had problems were dead batteries or I had it on mute.
