I noticed that they changed 560 to any buck this year. They did not highlight it in the regs so I was hoping it was a mistake. Does anyone have any info on why the change. I hunt early elk there, so I thought I would throw it out there in case anyone else missed it. Just used to being able to shoot a tasty doe during the hunt.

This is a listing of all the mistakes in the regulations:

had the same question and it took a little over a moth to get an answer and here it is "Thank You for contacting the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please forgive the delayed response.
Yes this was a change and unfortunately it should have been marked in red to reflect that change. We do apologize for the confusion and we appreciate your e-mail.

Last year (2011) early archery deer for GMU 560 was any deer. I see that this year it is listed as any buck but it is not in red like most other changes in the 2012 pamphlet. Is it a mistake or was it just printed in red? Thank you for some clarification
