Title: My new reinhart target
Post by: firehawk87 on July 09, 2012, 09:39:22 PM
Just bought it today from Grizzly Archery and I like it so far. I tested it with field points and broadheads and it seems to seal up pretty good. Anyone else have one of these? That arrow was shot at 30 yds with a Mathews switchback and the arrow was tipped with a slick trick broadhead.

Have the same target and love it.  Takes awhile to wear a side out

I have had one for about three years.  Always outside take it hunting every season early and late. We shoot field tips and broadheads and it still looks good. Love the target arrows still pull nice. Great investment!:))

Lol. Those are bullet holes. I found that siding at a local area where everyone shoots.

I've had this same target for a couple of years and I really like it.  I don't use it as my main target, more for taking to hunting camp and shooting at a buddies house, etc.

it works great for shooting at odd distances,  we roll it down the hill and shoot it where it lands.  you'll  learn your yardage quickly with it.

How do you like those slick tricks? My buddy and I are thinking about switching to those for the deer and elk season. He is thinking of even using them for bear. He said that they are suppose to shoot real close to field tips.

I just got one of the new Blocks from Wholesale. They matched the advertised price from Cabelas. It's a lot, but it's a good one.

Did you get he block or the brute? I looked at the brute yesterday and might have to call them up and have them send me a couple. I also like that smaller woodland block. Hard for me to go away from the 18-1 with the 1 year replacement. I do like that brute!

Got the Block, 24x24. It's a nice target but doesn't heal like the Rhinehart

Question... so I have a rhinehart 18-1 and I made the mistake of grouping broadheads from 30 yards.  Second arrow hit the first and separated the broadhead from the first arrow.  So now I have a 3 month old 18-1 with a floating broadhead inside.  Any others with this problem?  Almost renders it unshootable.

Update:   I reached out to Rinehart and they walked me through how to get it out.  They had me find the location and then dig it out from the shortest side.  Only left a 1"x1"X4" (deep) hole and given it has 17 other sides to use up it doesn't really matter much.  Plus I  have my broadhead back.

Adhering to a strict 1 broadhead at the same spot rule.  My shuttle Ts are flying with my field points out to 30 yards so far.
