I read on a post from 2003 that the pump station is a good spot for catfishing. Being that it was wrote in 2003 is this place still there and a good spot? I'm trying to stick as prosser being the farthest I want to travel. I've also heard the bridge in prosser is a good place to try as well, when I tried there the river didn't seem to be deeper than a couple feet and got snagged every cast. And don't get a single bite

Chandler is still there. It is a good spillway into the river, from the canal. I have caught bass there and salmon (back when you could fish salmon there). I am sure there are cats to be caught, but your best luck would be to head down towards the mouth. You will have a chance to catch more and better sized ones too. Anywhere below Horn Rapids dam has been good to great for me.

We have floated that section below horn rapids to benton city and have always done good to great catchin smallies and cats. Keep rods.riged up for both and keep switchin! Also keep the fishin bow ready for.the carps!

Would you mind telling me how to get to the pump station? I don't really care about catching quality or size, my driving anxiety is coming back so that why I'm trying to keep as close to prosser as possible. I know spots further down that I can do pretty well on but driving 2 hours seems impossible to me at the moment. All it will take is couple "quick" trips and I'll be back to my good self again.

Take Old Inland Empire Rd. (O.I.E) East out of Prosser. It will be on your right about half way to Benton City. You cant miss it.
If you cross the big canal you've went too far.
