Went out on the last day open for retention on the lower river and landed a nice keeper! It was my first keeper and the first keeper on my buddies new boat. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day on the river either.

Sweet catch, congrats! I have yet to even hook into a sturgeon, I'm jealous!

Thanks, and yes it was a blast. Ive had my butt handed to me by some salmon and a few steelies over the years, but these things are nothing but motor! Best fight I have had yet.

Great fish, I miss Sturgeon fishing. I used to do a bunch of it around Kennewick.
