Had 2 Truth 35 cams up about 4 miles in. One did great until the elk nudged it into a 180 view of the brush. The other had tracks all over in front and didn't take a single pic. One more chance with that cam before I shoot it. Had several pics of the buck but all night shots. Fairly decent blacktail.

Is it human scent, battery scent, wires or the plastic scent that makes them that want to inspect/lick camera :dunno: I've tried it all and it doesn't matter they still check out the cam :tung:
Is the 1 camera broken? or just no game...

elk ALWAYS mess with my cams. gets a little annoying to be honest :chuckle:

About 200 yds before I reached the bad camera I saw a huge b-tail buck which got me all excited. Arriving at the camera and seeing tracks all around it I was hopefull for a pic of the buck. Opened it up and it was dead. Had fresh batteries when I placed it. I will check it out more tomorrow.

At least you got some variety. Now with the one camera that didn't take any pictures, did it take pictures of you when you set it up, or when you checked it today?

Nice pics!

I just noticed- looks like your time is off by 12 hours? Did you get that fixed?

I'll put new batteries in it, set it up at home and see if I can get it to work. I've calmed down enough now maybe I'll send it in instead of shooting it if it doesn't work. Also I didn't see the time off until I got home. I'll fix that next time.

Yes, nice pics indeed!
I think what gets the attention is the noise these cameras make. I can hear mine when I walk by it. If a human can hear it - then the critters certainly hear it and from a longer distance too.

Primos has fixed the noise issue. My Primos 35, which I bought just 6 months ago, does not make any noise.
