My daughter is recently engaged to be married (good guy) any way she wanted to get him a pistol as a groom gift so I suggested the PMR-30 .22 mag
So, as any good future father-in-law would do I went out and shot it ,make sure it was safe and functioned well. :chuckle:
My first impression when handling it was crap they sent me a toy airsoft gun by mistake, it is light. The gun shoots well and is a blast to shoot, louder than I expected.
I had 2 fail to feed events in a hundred rounds, slide locked back when there were still rounds in the mag, may not of been well seated?

Looks like it will shoot MOBG (Minute of Bad Guy)
Not bad to look at either...

Way cool! I have had one on order for some time now.

Where did you find one? There are a bunch of guys around Tacoma who have been trying to get their hands on one for a while.
I bet the malfunctions will go away after a little break in. You should be a nice guy and put a few hundred more rounds through there to make sure it's ready to roll when the son-in-law gets it. :chuckle: For the record, nobody got me anything when I got married. Just a couple of good lucks, and one person telling me to how long I have to get an annulment. Now I'm going to go smack my Father-in-Law in the back of the head for that. >:( ;)
Congrats to you, your daughter, and her fiance on the engagement as well!

:chuckle: I know what you mean York, times have changed apparently ?
Bigghammer I got it off of Gunbroker for her, so over MSRP, at this point, I'm still on a waiting list for mine.
Huntbear it has good MOBG :chuckle: of coarse if the daughter didn't run off with it so fast I could provide a more detailed range report.

I have one & have only put one clip though it. No malfunction and nice light feel to it. Two weeks after I purchased it, the dealer asked me if I would sell it back to him for cost.
I guess he has a few guys willing to pay over retail price for it. I decided to hang on to it for now. Would make great side arm during deer season.

I had the original version made by grendel, and it was nearly identical, it was accurate enough to squirrel hunt with, but was ammo particular. as long as you fed it Winchester ammo it ran fine.. tore the hell out of squirrels with HP though..
