Title: Sammamish River fishing?
Post by: quadrafire on July 19, 2012, 09:16:25 PM
I'll be spending some time along the river this weekend north of Redmond. Daughter has a soccer tournament, and there will likely be some down time. Thought maybe I would throw the flygear in the rig. Anybody know anything about that stretch of water? What kind of fish etc.

OK this is wierd. In the regs the only open area is around marymoor park. Am I reading this right? Can you not fish above this???

I don't really care as long as there is a bite. What about the regs?  Is that stretch along the 60 acre soccer field open for fishing???

Jan 1-aug 31. Catch and release for trout. Selective gear rules but you can kill the squaw fish. Yes it is open by the soccer fields
