Title: keeping crabs overnight
Post by: DoubleJ on July 19, 2012, 09:45:57 PM: Just got home. I can't get to these crabs tonight. What's the best way to keep them alive until lunch tomorrow?

Seriously, they will suffocate due to lack of oxygen. They can breathe in the air if kept cool but will run out of oxygen in the water. Just take out of your bucket and put them in a cooler. An inch of water is fine as it will help keep their gills moist.

Put live crab n a cooler withot water, soak a towel and put over the crab, put some ice on top to the keep them cool.
I've kept crab alive overnight ans half the next day this way.
