Please recommend a good, fail safe broadhead sharpener for 3-blade Muzzys.

My best advice would to just buy replacement blades.

Buy the replacement blades. I have heard of guy's using the inside of a ceramic coffee cup to touch up a dull blade.

Buying replacement blades in a surprising answer in light of the fact that most of my broadheads have never been shot.  Essentially, I'm questioning the sharpness of the blades out of the box.  Am I expecting an unreasonable level of sharpness out of the box? :dunno:

The G-5 sharpener works great with a few swipes. I replace about half as many blades since I got one.

I use Trueangle broadhead sharpener on mine. It works fantastic. I can get new blades sharper and shoot a practice blade dozens of times and then sharpen it up to easily shave hair. The blade I shoot is the Wasp SST Hammer. Been using the Trueangle for a long time now. I just went to this web page http://www.truangle.net/product_info.php?products_id=30&osCsid=fc566da9a1ee170a95b618955a97a71b (http://www.truangle.net/product_info.php?products_id=30&osCsid=fc566da9a1ee170a95b618955a97a71b) and noticed they have a diamond sharpener now. Don't know if the old stone was replaced with the diamond, but you run the blades across the stone/diamond and then finish with a leather set up and put semichrome polish on the leather to get the sharpest edge possible.

Good reply! And heck no! Don't expect reasonable sharpness out of a box. Find a way to make them sharp enough to suit YOU!
