Title: Me, my Seekins 260 in the local paper(2007)
Post by: Jim the Plumber on July 29, 2012, 10:46:10 PM: Found this paper while cleaning a spare room. Thought I'd share 8)
Back in 2007 the local paper came to me wanting to do a write up on long range shooting.
I rounded up a couple of the better shooters in the valley and we had some fun.
At the time I was shooting a rifle Glen built on a Remington action, in 260 Rem, shooting 142 MK's.
It is the first of a few articals the local paper has done on the shooting sports.

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on July 29, 2012, 11:06:14 PM: Very Interesting--I've done some SCUBA diving with the photographer, Mike Bonnicksen. Knew his dad, too. And Jim Findlay is a living legend in the shooting sports around here.

Post by: Heredoggydoggy on July 30, 2012, 12:57:45 PM: The only part of the Wenatchee World worth reading is the Obituary Column, and I'm getting tired of seeing names I recognize. I find it's a whole lot easier to just ignore people I don't like. Saves a lot of stress. :chuckle: :chuckle:

PAC-Nor makes a good barrel, years ago had them do a heavy .308 Baer for me. What bullet are you going to run?

139 Scenars, or 140 Bergers whichever shoots better.. I went 6.5/06 AI, I know, don't flip me too much schitt! Ya ever kill anything with scenars?

Both are good bullets, I've only shot Scenars on paper with .300 Win Mags and they performed well. 6.5-06 AI is a way cool cartridge. 8)
