Title: anyone use berry bugles?
Post by: krapmit on August 01, 2012, 05:51:59 PM
I got an ol' Berry Thunder Bugle given to me, and was told it was the best bugle the guy had used for "LOCATING"

Anyone else use the calls? Are they still in business?  I might need a couple replacement reeds.

I have killed a grand total of 2 big bulls.   Berry Thunder Bugle helped kill them both.   One called right in (just like on TV!!!!!    :-)      The other, I just located, but he was willing to talk more just before he died.

Glen and Chad Berry are also nice guys.   I've talked to them at the Puyallup show many different years.

They're also from Medical Lake, washington.

Thanks alot guys.  is the best way to buy a replacement reed online. I found their website and it looks like you print out a form and mail it in. Is that the only way to do it?

Dan-0 hope you are well man, I pm'd ya today.

Send them an e-mail and they will set you up with just what you need.. They are the best  :twocents:  Glen spent quite a bit of time teaching me how to use ALL thier calls.. Number one in my book..

Chad Berry is a sponsor, just search his name and send him a message.

Glen is helping build his son's house.  Everyone knows how much time that takes.  Their goal is to get it framed, roofed, windows in and siding on before hunting season.  So if he is slow on getting back to you that is the reason.

Good calls and I think he has the best quality of calls from a consistency perspective.  You can grab 10 diaphragms off the rack and all are anchored at the same location.

I love the hand held sleazy...

This will be my 15th season with the Thunder Bugle. Haven't found any reason to change. Their customer service is great as I always pick up lots of spare reeds while at the shows. Give Glen or Chad a call.
