The Sanctuary is still open on a draw basis. As you have heard me discuss in the past the supplementa feeding and selective breeding program we have ofen results in a surplus of bears. Therefore, we use the draw system to "cull the herd" so to speak. If you have not recieved your permit than I am sad to say you did not get drawn this year.

Those powerline runs along Hwy 3 all hold bears. Seems like one is hit on the hwy every year.
