Title: sun lakes

I hunted sun lakes a few times last year but was told the other day through the grape vine that you cant hunt them is this true?

Are you talking about the between Soap Lake and Coulee city? If so, what are you wanting to hunt? Sorry, didn't realize that this was in the waterfowl board.

You can hunt on public land in that area, except in the state park. You would probably have more luck with decoys somewhere on Banks lake, or over in the Potholes area and Moses Lake. Also if you want geese try the area around Wilson Creek, there are pit blinds in the area that I believe are on a first come first serve basis.

For more detailed info call the local WDFW biologist.

thanks i was hunting lenore and alkali.. Have wanted to hunt soap..
