Title: New Pelican case for my new X-bolt
Post by: sticky on August 16, 2012, 10:38:26 AM
I picked up a Pelican 1750 dbl rifle case when I bought my X-bolt 06 a few weeks ago.  Pelican makes one solid case.  I understood their cost when I saw one up close.  A couple days ago, I finally traced and cut out the foam for the gun, bolt, mag, and rangefinder.  I used an electric knife and it worked ok until I screwed up the barrel section a little.  I wished I had used a sharp knife on the barrel like I did with the bolt.  Anyway, here are some pics.

Love my pelican cases too. I would just flip that foam around so the gun isn't upside down when carrying it. But I might just be OCD haha

I thought about that, but I wanted most of the weight down by the wheels and the serial # facing up.
