Today my Drop Zone rest started to hang up after I release. It does not drop fast or completely. It starts to drop and hangs up about half way down, then slowly drops the rest of the way. It is as if the tubing is thicker in the middle of the slide. I know that isn't the case, but it is the best way to describe the issue.
Are there replacement springs or the plastic tubing that it slides down?

Be better if you posted a picture of your set up !

Sometimes they need a good cleaning. Those straws inside, and springs get gunky and need cleaned out...and then your back in business. Take it apart..clean er up, check the springs..ect.

Billy try cleaning inside with a spray lube type cleaner. Those have a tendancy to collect dust and grime through the slot the rest moves up and down through. Clean it up and work it up and down until it moves freely again. If that doesn't work contact trophy ridge or taker can't remember who makes that one. Good luck!

I cleaned it, but without success. It still dropped slow enough that it was leaving black marks on the fletching.
Was thinking new guts would help, but they don't have replacement parts on their site.

Are you certain that your nock point has not changed? Just saying it could be that. When you had it off your bow, did it drop quick?
-
Time to contact the manufacturer and check out their customer service.

No, the nock point didn't change. I could pull the string by hand and watch it hang on the drop.

Just sent them an email before posting here.

Any news Billy?

Nope. No reply from Trophy Ridge yet.

You are better off calling, I have e-mailed with questions to quite a few manufactures and never get a responce. :bash:

When I emailed them I asked if there were replacement springs or the plastic tubes.
I got an email from Bear Customer Service today (Bear/Trophy Ridge/Rocket) and the Customer Service representative requested my address to send me the replacement parts.
"Send us your name and address. I will send out the replacement parts and get you taken care of. Thanks."
Great customer service.

Don't know how I have not got into this one yet :chuckle: I am here now. They have great CS, if anyone deals with them and has a problem. Just let me know and I will talk to the guys down there. They are a great bunch of people.
