:chuckle: Scouting... 90% complete. (Scouting for high buck isn't easy)
Shout out to D-Rock for joining me on a bear hunt turned scouting trip.

Depends on what your calling a shooter :chuckle: I would shoot him .. he is only about 19 in. wide ...always look bigger in velvet .... nice buck
-
Super tall....Deep forks....not that wide. Well two out of three equals SHOOT!!

He'd be an ok last day buck.
-
Looks like he is standing on the same hump that Droopy was.
-
sure but he is going to be hard to find!!!

Shooter for sure!! Good scouting!

If he keeps growin I might consider him but not the way he looks now :chuckle: :chuckle:

Uhhhhh.....Hmmmmm...... YES!

He's legal if thats what you mean.............. :chuckle:

I think he's safe because you're stupid to go back there. :twocents:

D-Rock never pass up on what you would shot on the 1st day that you would not shot on the last day .... :dunno: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

Do you have a bigger buck located?

Good looking buck for sure

Bang! Flop! Eating fresh tenderloins for dinner.....

I guess there are some people out there who would pass on a buck like this, I am not one of those people. Even if I had seen a bigger buck in my time scouting I would knock him down without a blink or a regret. Mature bucks are what Im after during the high hunt. This buck is mature. Good luck man
-
He's close to 20-21" wide with good forks and tine length.... Your choice..... I know what I'd do.....
-
I know they say there's no such thing as a stupid question but....... come on dude, seriously? ;)
-
You can't eat the rack. As long as it is legal, I shoot it. Then on to duck hunting.
-
only a answer the shooter can decide

:yeah:

Sure you can, suppose to work better than the lil blue pill the older fellas on here use :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I really dont think he was asking if it was a shooter. I think it was kinda a joke when he askef if it was a shooter or not.
-
That was my impression.

If I had a time machine I would've made it legal deer season. Not a doubt in my mind. If knife season had been open I would've tried that...
Anybody who says they would've passed on that deer, I'd like to hunt with, so I could see if they live what they preach (cause I doubt they do).
Hopefully this one is on the menu come deer season, as it is plenty for me.
-
I still think he's a last day buck for me.

That's cause it'd take you until the last day to get back up there.

You can go with me anytime you want. :-). 9 days in September, 17 in October, and 14 days in November.

Pass

Only having one eye guard is a deal breaker for me.
-
Let him get bigger.
-
Choot em!

You'll find more than a couple guys on here that I know would walk away from that buck. I'm not one of them at this point in my mule deer hunting career but there are others....guaranteed.
I shoot.

I feel the trophy is in the eye of the beholder. That's the beauty of America, we can all state our opinion. I have bigger bucks I've taken, but I think he's a nice wall buck and good representation of a mule deer. Tall and decent forks, not real wide, but would be nice in someone's house.......
