I did a search but came up empty  :dunno: Does anyone have a recipe for this or do you just fry up like sea bass? Thanks for your suggestions  :)

I figured it was an out of state thing or something. Confirm or deny?

Hope so  :yeah:  As far as I know, you can't land in any port in Washington with a Yellow Eye.. Hopefully he caught it in Alaska or Canada..

Deep fried, same genus as all of our local rockfish that we can no longer keep in PS.   :bash:

anything you would do with halibut works fine.  pan frying them with blackened seasoning is easy and delicious

I like to do any white fish on the BBQ, wrapped in foil with butter and lemon, maybe some red onion and seasonings of your choice. Or bake in the oven with mayo, sour cream, fresh dill and seasonings of choice.
