Boats and more boats coming in with tuna and a 2 foot swell predicted so I deceide to give it a try in my 23 foot alumaweld. Got it out of my system for this year already. 43 miles out fish biting and motor freezes up now what. Start in at about 2 oclock running at 4 knots figure to be at the dock about 1 in the morning. Run for 6 hours in get about 25 miles out and start catching silvers on coyote spoons and not slowing down and all native fish. We were only planning to be out in daylight hours so no lights no flashlight no backlight on Gps so we were worried someone could run over us in the dark so we called the coast guard. Got a free ride in 20 tuna in the ice and stories to tell and motor in the shop. Already hope to try it again it was sure fun.

Atleast you caught fish. An awesome variety too  How deep was it where you caught the silvers :dunno:

Deep enough you could'nt touch bottom. It was lile 1500 feet for the silvers out 25 miles out for tuna real deep at 43 miles out.
