Title: Reloading the 325wsm....?
Post by: GoldTip on July 24, 2007, 02:08:11 PM
Anyone reloading the 325wsm?  I haven't been able to find much published info for this round :dunno:.  I love the 220gr winchester powerpoints for the accuracy for factory loads and did kill three deer and an elk last year with this round. But would like to start working up a 220gr swift A-frame load for an upcoming Moose hunt next fall in Canada.  Any info anyone has would be appreciated.  The rifle is a Browing A-bolt in stainless stalker.

I reload but not that caliber, Here is the Speer supplement for that round this should help you out.

IMR's site has 220grs listed.

Accurate has one 220 load listed.

I know this thread is an old one, but I agree.  The 220 gr winchester powerpoints are very accurate. For factory ammo they shot the best out of my Kimber.  As far as reloads my favorite load is 150gr Hornady Interlocks with 65.1grs of H4350 and CCI 250 primers.  The 200gr Nosler Accubonds shot very well also, but I don't remember how much powder I was using.  One thing I've noticed is that the most accurate loads have all been in the mid range, when I load up to the max load my groups open up a bit.

I love the A-Frames.  That is what I reload in my 30-06.  (180grain A-frames)
