I haven't heard it personally, but I had a bull with 3 cows on my cam this week. I'm sure they are.

I was out over night sat & sun.
Did not hear any talking. It was a bit windy though, which could have dampened any bugling.  :o

I was out yesterday and heard lots of chatter and a couple bugles.  If I had any clue how to post sounds I would put it up.   :chuckle:

The bulls I watched yesterday were still about 50/50 on being hard horned. I watched a bull raking a tree but it wasn't from the rut, they are just now shedding the velvet. I didn't hear any bulls talking but it wouldn't surprise me if they are starting to get some practice in and locate their soon to be competitors.

Watched 8-10 cows with their calves last night coming out of the woods being very vocal the whole way. 6x6 was bugling in the timber not far behind them. He didn't come out until all the cows were in the field. Then he fed in behind them. Bugled a couple more times then I ran out of light and headed home.
