Title: Road access question Willapa

Does anyone know if the A line rd coming out of Willipa is gated? Is that land owned by weyerhauser? Just to be clear im talking about the land that is east of the city of Willipa in the fall river unit.

I'm looking for an area that I can MT. Bike into and get in deep and find elk. However, it has to be gate for it to be worth my while. I'm interested in the Fall River unit because it is open to cow or 3pt. or better.

Post by: bobcat on August 28, 2012, 07:34:57 PM: I'm confused as to what area you're asking about. Are you talking about the A Line in the Williams Creek unit? You said east of Willapa so that's the road I thought you meant. The Fall River unit is north of highway 6.

Post by: BoneCollector1 on August 28, 2012, 07:55:49 PM: Sorry about the confusion. I'm talking about in the Fall River unit. If you are in Willipa and you head east on Wilson Creek Rd it turns into the A Line Rd. Is this road and area gated?

Post by: willapawapiti on August 29, 2012, 02:06:55 AM: Talked to one of the contractors who's been putting up many of the local gates today, he said he has a bid in on the Wilson Creek A and B line gates, just waiting to hear back. He said they won't be up for this hunting season but by next for sure......
