Title: First rattle can job!
Post by: carpsniperg2 on August 28, 2012, 07:58:08 PM: Well I have always been scared to destroy a good stock :chuckle: So I have never tried this before. I learned a few things for sure. Didn't turn out half bad. I just got this 22 the other day and it came with a extra stock. So I figured what the heck and went for it. This 22 if for my soon to be sister inlaw. We have turned her into a shooting machine and she was hogging the 10/22 last time out. So I decided it was time to get her one. I had a set of rings and a older rimfire bushnell just begging to get rattle canned. Has there initials on it and wedding date

Total cost under 7.00 :chuckle:

I am not taking any orders either so don't ask me to do yours :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I am glad I just sent 4 off to hydroprint the other day! I still have half a can of berry pink to burn up :chuckle:

The plastic type, after I painted the one side of the scope I let it dry and rolled it over and painted the other side. The paint that was on the plastic came off super easy and stuck to some of the paint on the scope in a few spots. So I fixed it by using something small to prop it up off the plastic to spray it. Also really rub the tape well. Some I had pressed down but not really hard all over. So they bled in under the tape a little bit.
