Which one would you focus on?
I hunted the Naneum years ago and remember some, but a friend of a friend suggests the Quilomene.
Drove up a Quilome canyon, right before the fire, and after driving up "O-sh!t" side road made it up to the top and had good views of the wind mills. It seems to me this canyon road is hunted by parking at the bottom and hiking up hill to the top to hunt hoping they come running your way. Reminded me of the area I hunt mulies in the Coulee but not country for elk.
A down hill drag would be a positive here, but I still cherish the mountain environment and cooler weather WITH TREES.
dono.

Heading out now looking for rollin fish as the tide is UP.

Either way, I just dont see how you can miss. You would have to have some plain ole horrible luck not to have a chance to fill that tag. Good luck.

I hunt naneum every year. A cow tag would be as close to a sure thing as possible. See elk daily, mostly big bulls and lots of cows. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a spike in two years. :-

Positives. Thanks.
Just spotted a jack roll and was gasping for 02.
Air is a good thing.
