:chuckle: Had a yote come walking up one of the game trails towards my ground blind tonight. He was sneaking, think he was trying to make a run on the doe and fawn that just left seconds before him. :bdid: At 30 yards, head on shot should of been a piece of cake with how I've been shooting lately. Except for that fence that I forgot was there :bash: Instantly after the shot I hear a Thawang, the yote spins once biting itself then runs off down the trail before I could nock a second arrow. So I walk over and see the fence , 5 feet behind the fence is one of my fletchings laying on the ground, 3 feet left of that and another 3 or so back is the arrow buried in some grass. I've got blood on 2 fletchings and the broad head. I'm thinking a grazing hit, bet he will think twice about trying to stalk that fawn again though.. I will be checking the area during the day tomorrow for more blood and try to track it. Didn't want to stir the dear up anymore than I already did tonight so I'll wait till their in bed tomorrow and see if I gave the yote more than just a bad night.
