As many of you know I volunteer to help people every year with the Peaches Ridge Tag. I have had 100 percent success in the past and looking forward to seeing someone get one with the Front Stuffer.
I will let him post on here if he chooses to do so. I have the next two months to do nothing but get on some animals. (retired life is good).
I also got flack a few years back about guiding without a license. Make no mistake I am not guiding. I am simply helping a fellow hunter out with a tag that I know how to get the job done. Matter as fact the hunter asked me what I wanted in return, I said " a handshake and maybe a new friendship". To me this is what many people have lost, the want to help just because it makes you feel good about lending someone a hand in the great sport of hunting which we all love.
We will be doing some scouting at the end of the month, then the shooting begins on OCT 1st, I will let the hunter post up whatever he chooses to. After all i am just helping out.
PS, many people PMed me but when i went to reply theeir inbox's were full..
good luck out there ,

I love your attitude rtspiring. I do the same thing for a lot of people when it comes to deer hunting. I love helping people and sharing in there experience's. I wish more people were like that. New friendships and memories are hard to beat.

Its always nice to read something like this, a sportsman wanting to help others and willing to "share" the knowledge. Good luck to you both and enjoy the new friendship. :brew:

RTspring is going to help me out this year with my muzzle loader Peaches tag. All of my buddys are not hunting this year and have no tome to help me so I took RTspring up on his offer. He has been very generous with his time and if nothing else I hope to make a new friend and hunting buddy! Thanks RTspring for all that you have done so far, I really appreciate it!
See you soon!

Here's a crappy cell phone pic of a muzzleloader Peaches Ridge bull from 2010. Not mine, a friend's.

Not the biggest bull, but it is a solid animal. Awesome coloring on the horns. For perspective, I'm 6' 2" standing next to it. No idea on the score - high 200's, low 300's? Anyway, he shot this bull on opening morning when two bulls were just bugling like crazy - one above and one below him. This one came down from above first, so it got shot and it was a bang-flop. At the sound of the shot, the other bull bugled and started hustling uphill towards him and got pretty much up to where this bull was laying before he wheeled and took off. Friend said that bull was just as big if not bigger...
Really fun time of year to be up there with a tag - the bulls are hot! Have fun on the hunt, and major props to RTS for lending a hand.

I know it will be a kick! I have only killed Bulls in Montana and Wyoming.
