I just got back from my ID Hunt. Didn't fire a shot but had a great time. Had the desert all to myself except for Sun when I saw many hunters & few goats. I hunted 6-7 days & had 3 shot opportunities at bucks between 170-180 yds. I gambled I could get closer & lost. I saw 20-40 goats/day & if under 1/4 mi they would usually be running.
Drag raced goats twice & they won! They have this thing about being faster than you & need to cross the road to prove it.
I won't use the Knight Speed loaders again. I carried 2 in my cargo side pant & the ends opened & spilled out the powder & bullet. Good thing I didn't need them.
Thanks again for everyone sharing their muzzleloader expertise.
