Title: how does fire affect elk ??

well the bad news came...our idaho rifle elk spot is half burned up  :'(

so there's less than a month left till we head over there..how will the fire affect the animals ? how long till they move back in ? how far will they go away from the fire ?

any info/advice will be very much appreciated
