A few of my spots are now closed to any access and I am not happy. :bash: I know it is for the best and all but it still sucks because I was in the elk all last weekend and was confident that I would get into again this weekend. As of now I am trying to figure out where I am going to go for the weekend since it is the last weekend of early season...

It is really frustrating when the bulls are all fired up and bugling like crazy and you have fire trucks going up and down the road all day and helis flying by over your head but they are just doing their job and a good one at that. You have to time your cow talk and bugles between the helis LOL. All the traffic above, on the ground and smoke hasn't seemed to bother the Elk much. It would however really suck if your area got shut down that you were scouting. SORRY to hear that.

I completely understand why they shut it down and really appreciate all the hard work and dedication of the men and women trying to contain the fires. It just sucks that all the time and gas money that I spent scouting and preparing for early season will end up going for not. Oh well, what can ya do?
