Title: Steep timber cow.
Post by: matmike on September 14, 2012, 09:04:26 PM: This is my second archery elk in as many years. Walked in about 2.5 miles cow calling here and there a little, finally found one that showed some interest. Shot her at 51 yards up hill ,double lung and she went about 50 yards give or take before crashing and piling up against a cedar tree. The only picture i have, my brother in law took when we had her half way quartered. Hope the picture works. Fun hunt.
