Ok,, we get the boat launched, and head to the boat house  We pull to the dock  I get the rope, hook the dock, go to step out and something goes POP :yike: (HURT LIKE ALL GET OUT,,,, DAMN and few other choice words) in my left foot :yike: This ain't good :'( screw it I'm going fishing :'( Hobble my butt to the boathouse, and get 3 doz. herring  Heading back to the boat, well lets just say one should not,, hell with it I FELL DOWN THE RAMP TO THE DOCK :yike: :yike: I did save the bait
So here we are  out by the slag pile, and my pole goes tip, tip, tip  FISH ON  then limp :yike: a flounder :bash: Another bait..I can feel it :IBCOOL: we're going to get into salmon :IBCOOL: Letting my line down and all of a sudden SLACK LINE  reel down fast and set the hook   dogfish :bash: Creig hit a salmon  one jump and gone :'(
So went our day at Pt. Defiance..What a great day  Even with the pain ( yes my foot is swollen) it was better then a good day at work  ..

Beats work.

Remember next time to throw salt over the left shoulder the night before a fishing trip.
It's one way to keep the devil at bay!
-
was your fall down the ramp caused by a banana peel? :yike: That could be the cause for the bad fishing! Hope you foot and mouth feel better. At least your foot didn't end up in your mouth! :chuckle:
-
damn man you need a bag of salt to throw over your shoulder :sry:
