Post by: Russ McDonald on September 18, 2012, 03:21:48 PM: I am sure he or she was part of a shot crew and I know how those guys work. I am sure it will come back as heat stroke. Hydrate, hydrate hydrate. Even though the temps have been down some the humidity is still low and heat of the fire zaps the moisture right out of you. Fire I was on a month ago had I kinds of guys coming into medical for heat exhastion (sp)

Could be anything from smoke inhalation combined with over exhaustion, to he got into something he was highly allergic to...

One of the articles I read said that the FAMILY has said that the man's name will not be released.

The firefighter that was killed was a tree faller working the klone fire in the entiat. It also said that he became ill, and was transported to a nearby hospital where they later died
