Title: Benelli M2 Question
Post by: sticknstringman on September 18, 2012, 11:09:04 PM
Has anyone shot one for ducks and geese? I got a deal that I couldn't pass up and now Im a new benelli owner :chuckle: I want to use it for ducks and geese but was wondering how it worked in the cold especially. Im not to worried about early season but when it freezes outside i want to know if i can rely on it

Works great.  I know several guys that still shoot them.  I sold mine and just use the SBEII

I used mine while pheasant hunting in a blizzard in Michigan a couple of years ago. Never failed despite ice build up in the action.

Sent from my Lumia 710 using Board Express

I think you got yourself a good shooter.

Mine only froze once, but it was 11 below that morning and i was able to tget it to shoot, the action was just really slow. But thats expected of any autoloader when it gets cold out. I love mine, put over 700 rounds through mine last season and killed a lot of ducks.

These guys are all smoking crap, that is one of the worst guns to come out sense the blunderbuss.  Did you pay more than $100 for it? Hope not. Tell you what though I do have just a little space in the gun safe I need to fill so I'll give you $100 sense you really didn't know what you where doing at the time.
