The bull I killed at panhandle lake had it in one hind leg. That worries me. My brother in law killed a cow in toutle that had it bad in one leg. A cow a friend of mine killed in the west end of margaret last year had it. I sent an email to wdfw about my bull, haven't heard a word back.

Efforts by some on this forum were instrumental in getting this meeting scheduled. Leave it to hunters to get the ball rolling for aggressive conservation efforts. I'm betting the meeting was attended by no one from PETA or the Defenders of Wildlife.

Ironically I got an email back today. They send me this link http://wdfw.wa.gov/conservation/health/hoof_rot/ which I have seen before, but there is another link at that page to report hoof rot and deformity. The email didn't say much else.

seen 14 elk this year with hoof rot, it was pretty sad. They were in some serious pain.
