Title: Looking for a good gunsmith for wood work.
Post by: Sideswipe on September 24, 2012, 12:45:16 PM
I am replacing the buttstock & buttplate w/one that is the authentic styling on my 1895 Marlin Cowboy.  I can do the remaining minor inletting & woodfinishing but I don't trust myself to drill the angled hole for the tang mounting screw.  It has to be done right the 1st time so I want a "pro".  Any suggestions of someone within 50 miles of Stanwood preferred although I'm willing to drive further to have it done right.  Thanks Amigos.
