Title: Archery success!
Post by: shanevg on September 24, 2012, 01:43:16 PM: I know it's not too exciting but I was happy to get my second (and technically third) ever animal with my bow! I filled my Methow Second Deer tag on private land and was able to connect on a VERY tasty grouse! The deer was a perfect 34 yard heart shot with my bow. Died within 25 yards of where she was shot.

I had a good time hunting with my dad despite the lack of deer on public land. Also convinced my wife to help out with the skinning!
