Did you see how the goat fire west of Alta Lake explode. It is now 10 square miles.
Isn't that mule deer winter range?

from top to bottom of the hill is burnt.. it is over the cliff edge coming down on ranch and houses. (from one end of lake to end of golf course) more so the last couple days on the course end. the wind as been calm for days now which is rare and keeping the fire burning at a slow rate down the hills. there are some crews set up close to the houses. (which i bet today they are fighting on the golf course end)
it is starting to burn more toward black canyon as of yesterday as well. we could use some rain. (wishful thinking)
