Title: Green River Salmon are thick
Post by: BIGMIKE on September 26, 2012, 06:10:26 AM
Folks,  I went running around Riverbend Golf Course last Friday and looked down into the Water below from the green bridge and saw tons of fish working their way up river . I was wondering if that part of the river is closed this year or will it open soon? last year, there were tons of fish and a lot of fisherman are enjoying catching them :IBCOOL:. My question is when will this part of the river open up? or will it be closed all year this year. Is there a spot in the river that is open??? Thanks. been busy hunting :IBCOOL:, now I am ready to get my fishing line wet.

You have to check the reg's.  That river opens in sections.  Right now from I-405 down its open.  Then the next sections opens Oct. 1st...that is I-405 to S. 277th Bridge...then From S. 277th Bridge to Auburn-Black Diamond Road Bridge opens on Oct. 16th and so on.  So you have to figure out what section you want to fish then look it up in the regs.  We have been killing the silvers down in the lower river.  I think I am going out today for the evening tide.
