Title: Looking for a Savage
Post by: X-Force on September 28, 2012, 12:22:57 PM
I've been calling around trying to find a gun and no one seems to carry it... I am looking for a Savage 10 Predator 24" 6.5 creedmoor. Does anyone know of a shop carrying it on the west side?
Called Yeager's, Kesslerings, Wholesale, Skagit Arms, Cabelas and Wades...

You might want to give Savage a call and see if they just have them in there catalog but haven't shipped any yet.  I looked around at a couple wholesalers and none of them list it.  I doubt if any local shops will bring one in for display,  you will probly have to order it anyway.

I am a gun dealer in Naches, my distributor has the Savage 10 pred hunter 6.5creed mossy oak in stock savage #19129.  If there is a dealer on the west side that order from Big Rock Sports they can get it for you.  Big rock order #is 0685-0944.  If you will be in the Naches area I can get it for you.

budsgunshop.com has good prices and will send it to any FFL. They seem to have a really good customer service too.

If it's just a matter of ordering it, I've gotten great deals on several of my Savages ordering through Federal Way Discount Guns (NOT" Discount Guns of Federal Way").  However, they have moved into a new building, so overhead may have gone up...

Skagit Arms can order it for you.  Usually in within 3 to 5 days.

Consider the price of gas to drive 100 miles to save $50 and spend $75 in gas. Buy it online and save some money.

Update: My brother bought the gun 10/1 off CTD and actually had a good experience. They did take a while to process and ship it but it showed up today at the FFL and he just picked it up. Thanks again guys

I just bought a Savage Model 16 pencil barreled 6.5 Creedmoor. Me likes it. Hitting steel at 625 yards with Hornady 140 gr AMAX and a Pentax 4x12x40 scope with the trigger set at 2 1/2 lbs. Get one now !!! You won't be disappointed.
