I'll be in Yakima next week for a conference @ the convention center, and was wondering if there are any decent shops around. Kinda looking for a TC Venture in .270.
-
Cabela's opens Oct. 4th...
Hammer's which was the best place for my money and Grizzly Archery are the best!
Or was the best Hammer's is closed now
-
Yakima arms and guns west.
-
Stadler Firearms
Pawn Shop on first street (valley gun and pawn shop).
-
Stadler Arms on Fruitvale. Randy's a great guy to deal with. Tactical Supply on Washington if your looking for AR-s or Suppressors
-
Hammers is pretty good but the last time I was in there. They were not giving any deal on guns :yike:
-
Yakima? Just go to the first stop sign or stop light you come to, there will be someone holding a sign asking for your money, give them a few bucks and they will be able to help you out. :chuckle:
-
Hammers is not the same since it closed down and reopened now that mike has nothing to do with it. I forgot aboud stadler arms, i bought a pistol in there last year. Grumpys deals guns now to.
-
OR/when you pull over they will drag you out of the car and take it. :chuckle: Sorry had to do it.
If you are not from a area that has a wholesale sports then take a drive to the tri cities. It is not to far and has a lot of good spots. Then you can go to the ranch and home  That is a bad bad place to go if you are a sportsman with money in your pocket. Or room on your credit card :chuckle:
-
Wow, didn't realize Yakima had so many options.
I'm making a list.
-
Bestwaw pawn and valley gun and pawn are good stopa, also bowlbys pawn shop i think is the name. Big 5 has nice guns as well as bi mart.
-
:hello:
Attic Clutter sells a lot of new and used guns.
7 days a week
601 w. yakima ave.
-
Stadler arms had the gun i bought $95 cheaper than anywhere else in town or tri cities
-
There are good deals anywhere when you look enough. I am just sayin that in general I have found his prices to be much more than other gun stores.
-
I see you guys are excited for Cabela's. Be prepared for sticker shock. We have one in Post Falls, and it's the last place I go for me outdoor needs. Wholesale sports has better prices, but less of a selection.

cabelas isnt the cheapest but if you watch the flyers they fill your mailbox with you can catch some good deals. the gun ive been wanting to buy happened to go on sale from $849 down to $749, noticed in a flyer in my mailbox and swooped it up immediately

IMO:
Stadler Arms = way overpriced
Guns west = fair prices, good inventory
Hammers = is open, fair priced, fair inventory
Grumpy's = has most of Hammer's old employee's, now sells guns, somewhat overpriced.
Attic Clutter = not much there.
Then you have all the pawn shops and box stores. and of course, CABELAS(in 4 days)!!
They all have there core clientel. Dont expect to walk into any of them and talk them down alot. MY OPINION. Stadler knows his stuff he will move alittle (thats my go to). Guns West the couple times i've been in there they seemed arogent (no thanks). Hammers ehh there gunsmith sucked. The Cowboy in there did'nt know alot. Grumpt's never bought from them. Ya Attic Clutter not much inventory. Pawn shops marked up price's. There's also Ace Arm's in Selah he seemed pretty resonable
