Title: Poor Bobcats
Post by: tlbradford on October 02, 2012, 10:06:37 PM
This mom and kitten were killing some of my in-laws planted pheasants, otherwise they would have just got their picture taken.  I popped both with the .204.  My father in law is going to mount them for his den.  I saw the male sleeping under an apple tree early in the day.  Good size, coloring, and spots.  I am going to try to trap him once he gets furred up.

Small nickle sized hole in the bigger one with 32 grain vmax at roughly 45 yards.  I hit the kitten low as it was moving into the sagebrush and split the the skin from brisket to middle of the belly.
