Title: Blues Picture no story.
Post by: mtncook on October 04, 2012, 08:25:32 PM: Well I waited long enough for a story and pictures from this hunter. He hired me to pack the bull out. Not one of my booked hunters so I will not disclose much info. Some of you may know him and have seen the bull, perhaps you can convience him to spring more pics and a story.

And John you could do a story on your bull also, you gave a good report on how we took care of you in camp. A few pics and story are appreciated by all the elk nuts on here.

Didn't have his permission and posted the pic anyway? After the chewin you gave me for a pic I put up of a live bull on public ground with a faked location that was already put on the interweb? Nice

This was not a booked hunter, I only packed meat and antlers for him. It was a backpack hunt. DIY

Post by: runamuk on October 05, 2012, 09:20:24 PM: pictures are a sticky issue once on the web they are open to use by anyone at any time anywhere, and without copyright etc there are even those who will use them for profit....think about how many times we see certain giant farm bulls tossed up as new state record...monster bull yadayada, anyone who posts any pictures on any internet forum needs to understand those images are very likely to end up all over the place..... that said I might be a little miffed if someone posted a picture of myself and one of my kills without my permission .... there is no privacy on the net and if the person in the image might find this an invasion of privacy....

still doesn't change how cool the bull is but inour pursuits to see all these monsters we need to realize at times we may be crossing lines of good taste/manners
