Title: crossing train track
Post by: coyoteshooter on October 06, 2012, 10:59:59 AM: what this that i have been hearing that around burbank you cant cross the train tack to go hunt anymore. is this true ?

Post by: AWS on October 06, 2012, 01:16:11 PM: I believe that unless you have permision or there is a marked public crossing, you are trespassing. Railroad right of ways are private property. i believe you will see signs at the public crossings saying that it is private property.

It has always been illegal for the general public to cross RR tracks unless at a public crossing. Hunting around RR tracks is a bad idea and was it last year a duck hunter was killed around the Patterson area walking on the tracks?

Post by: 92xj on October 07, 2012, 01:32:10 PM: Burbank is posted heavily now. Cut off a lot of walk in areas on the Pen. Pretty hefty fine if caught and have word that there is increased eyes watching hunters out there.

Then again if you have your earbuds in listning to tune while you hike in.
