There are a couple bulls the same on here, but most are different. I got drawn for a modern bull tag in Peaches starting Oct. 22nd and this is part of my scouting. It would be great to see one of these during my season!
-
Some real nice bulls there, that first and last one looks to be the same, hes a brute. good luck on your hunt.
-
 Good luck!
-
Wow. That's awesome! Good luck with the tag!

Thanks for the support, it has been fun so far. This is my first bull tag, so I have rarely ever done any scouting before the season. I usually just go to my usual spot and sit. Pretty boring.
-
That will get ya pumped!!
-
I was thinking that the 1st, 2nd and the 5th picture are of the same bull. His body looks like a horse. The rest seem to have differences in their antlers.
-
Good luck!

Drop some apples, grain and trace minerals & salt on your camera and try to keep them coming into there until Oct 22!!! good luck that is a nice bull well two bulls
-
Thanks for the hint hunterrcc, I am heading up there this Wed. and I will take some apples. All of these pictures were taken with a deer block of corn and molasses. I don't have one picture of an elk eating it. they might sniff it but usually just walk by. This last time I put out a small salt block but haven't checked the camera since. I wish that I had started earlier with something that they like, to try and keep them coming back.

nice pics good looking bulls i also have that tag

I let this camera soak for a week and a half this last time and all I got was one cow and a bear for a couple of days. Do bears scare away elk? I am really disappointed, my bull tag opens up in 4 days and I thought I had the spot.
-
Greenhorn, pm me! I got your bull found!
-
Dont worrie about the bear. I would set right were your cameras at maybe fill a few tags. Good luck

Any luck Greenhorn? :dunno:

Well, I kept telling myself "Don't shoot the first bull you see" unless it is one of these big ones. Well guess what?:bash: I had told myself I was going to sit in my spot for 12 days straight to get one of these and I only lasted one day. Hadn't had a bull on the camera for two weeks. Only saw a bird the first day. The second day, chased after some other elk we had been watching and shot the first bull that I saw and he was 360 yds away and not nearly as big. :bash: I wish I could bring that bullet back. That evening (Tuesday) after packing my elk out I went to get my camera and watched 4 cows and one of these big bulls walk through my little meadow, 200 yds away! :bash:

that's a trophy in my book congrats.
-
Nice bull either way man congrats!! With as many tags as they are giving away in that unit now adays, you will draw again and kill a toad!
-
Thats a better bull then a lot of guys get in there life time. No shame there. Congrats

This is the final bull of the season before I pulled my camera for good. I also included a cow with a collar #199 it looks like and a human that searched around that area for 10 minutes but never found my camera. He was not armed except for a gps of some sort, bear spray on his belt and binoculars. He might have been working instead of scouting.
