took the pup to a pond on the edge of the neighborhood and counted 46 ducks within a rocks throw. weren't afraid of us at all. the dog was very interested in the quacking things all over the place and we took her out in the water so she would swim back to where she could reach the bottom.

Bayla loves to just watch the birds. It is really cute.
The next day we brought a loaf of bread with us and the birds were going crazy. They would come so close to the shore just to get some bread. Then Bayla would try and walk into the water to them and they would quick swim a little deeper.
It was so cute to see her with the birds.

My pup would be going crazy! When i throw a duck hunting dvd in he cant stand it. The surround sound has him trippin and running circles in the basement :chuckle:
Sometimes he gets so excited he does this little hop, all four legs off the ground at the same time and he keeps his body parallel to the ground. It looks just like when a bull jumps and twists in the air to throw the rider of its back.
I cant wait to get him in the field this year. Took him out for a coulple "play" days last year but this will be his first actual season.

is that a white lab? sure is a good looking dog, where did you get him?

Yes she is a yellow lab.
We got her from a German breeder. See we live in Germany. Just moved here from Washington. It was very tough to find a good breeder of a yellow lab but we ended up finding her and i just had to have her. She is a great dog.
