:bash: :bash: :bash:Well, Another let down for me over the past couple weeks. had some truck issues and had to dump All of my "Hunting Fund" into my truck. Being an out of state hunter, it costs an arm and a leg. over the past few days everything seems to be taunting me and setting me off. This morning on my morning delivery I see a whole bunch of Troops headed up the gorge with all there trailers and four wheelers packed ready to go. then on my way back to my warehouse I see two bucks in the back of someones truck at a stoplight in Gresham. AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF!!! I see Deer on the way home not five minutes from my house in Milwaukie, Oregon. Im Depressed, Frustrated, and itching to go but just cant AFFORD IT!! (I've even been not watching anything on the Sportsman Channel.. On the Bright side I have 367 days to save up, Buy all NEW gear, Buy a new truck, Scout and dream about next season.. GOOD LUCK to ALL heading out this weekend for the opener. I wish you all to be safe and successful. And rememeber, its not always about the harvest, just being in God's country with family and close friends is sometimes all you need!! HAPPY HUNTING!!!! and i can't wait to see the pictures and read all the stories about your trips Unsuccessful or not!

:yeah: Thanks Gadwall.. I am tagging along for the late bowhunt in Grayback in November with a lifelong friend of mine.. Get a little bit of fix to tie me over until next year.. Its funny how everything reminds me of hunting right now.. Seeing a jeep with dirt on it, the smell of the neighbors chimney smells like campfire.im outside on the porch and i can see my breath cause of the fall chill in the air, The Pint of Crown in my kitchen cabinet (I've always celebrated the first harvest of the year with a shot for me and the boys) the half empty box of shells for an old .303 british (That I haven't had in four years) in my closet.. I know it will pass soon, with my friends returning with backstrap and hours of conversation topics from the trips they went on.. BUT atleast I can hit the end of the years sales at Sportsman's etc. etc... just saw a sign today. yellow tag 50% off on tagged items.. Wheeewww!!!!!
