An hour ago I watched 4 guys in a red Dodge Ram road hunting drive by 2 legal bedded bucks with in50 yards of their vehicle from my kitchen. Probably 20 th vehicle I saw today do the same . :chuckle: :chuckle:

were you up in the chiwawa jackalope? same story for me, pea soup and hurricane wind all day. hunted the opener on a whim before heading to the okanagon on tuesday. saw a spike on the drive in and 2 does.
No...west side...not too far west of there though.

How do you know they didn't see them and just pass on by because they knew it was private property?

Not saying this is the case, but from what I've seen, when guys see legal animals on private property they usually stop and at least look. Some may just slow down, some a quick stop, some guys get out binoculars, some will even start doing U-turns and then looking for the property owners gate/house for a phone number or see if someone is home. I know it's possible, but rarely see hunters just cruise on past legal animals during the season, even on private property.

If I was driving by your land and saw a legal deer bedded I wouldn't trespass to shoot it. I guess it's easier or makes you feel better to just assume the worst of everyone and toss around insults. :dunno:
